Symington's Ainsley Harriot Cream of Wild Mushroom Cup Soup




This does make quite a thick soup - plenty of potato starch! But the taste is just a tad bland for me. Yes there's a pleasant mushroom flavour, but it really needs to be accompanied by some salt, some garlic, or some proper cream or butter. I added some garlic salt, and that lifted it. But even then, I feel it needs something else - some herbs perhaps?

An OK soup, just lacking a bit in seasoning and impact.
